§ 1 Our approach

How we plan and implement AI.

  1. Not this: Buy a tool, then find a use for it.

Instead: Start with a specific workflow. Map the steps, identify the problem, and agree on what a useful improvement would look like.

  2. Not this: Treat a convincing demo as proof it will work.

Instead: Test with representative tasks and approved data. Check accuracy, review time, and failure cases before deciding what to deploy.

  3. Not this: Connect the systems and leave oversight for later.

Instead: Define access permissions, review checkpoints, and who can stop the system. Build those controls into the implementation.

  4. Not this: Launch the tool and let the team figure it out.

Instead: Train the people who will use and supervise it. Document the workflow, assign responsibility, and compare results with the starting point.

§ 2 The working model

Implementation in your working environment.

  1. 01

    Map the workflow.

We work with your firm or legal department to understand the systems, people, and review steps involved. Together, we define the task, the boundaries, and how we’ll measure the result.

  2. 02

Agree on access and data use.

Your team approves which systems and information the project can use. We document permissions, vendor connections, and data handling before implementation, and start testing with synthetic or de-identified material where practical.

  3. 03

    Build and test the implementation.

We configure tools, agents, and integrations around the agreed workflow. Testing covers routine tasks, exceptions, and failures, with review checkpoints before the system acts on live work.

  4. 04

    Hand over usable work.

Configurations, workflow documentation, test results, and training materials are delivered in the agreed workspace. Your team learns how to operate the system, review its output, and make changes.

  5. 05

    Set up ongoing ownership.

We agree who maintains the implementation, how issues are reported, and when performance is reviewed. At handoff, we confirm access, retention, and support arrangements with your team.

AI consulting and implementation are provided by Agentic Attorney LLC. The platform is not a law firm, and consulting does not establish an attorney-client relationship. Legal advice requires a separate legal engagement. About the platform.

§ 3 Confidentiality and data handling

Before connecting a tool, agree on what data it can use.

Access, storage, retention, and review are part of the implementation.

We work with your team to document which information a tool may access, where it is processed and stored, whether a provider may retain it or use it for training, and who can review the output. Testing starts with synthetic or de-identified material where practical. Using client information requires your team’s approval of the data, tools, and handling arrangements.

Keep initial inquiries and demonstrations free of sensitive data

  • Client and counterparty identities
  • Confidential documents and communications
  • Financial records and personal information
  • Passwords, API keys, and other credentials

Describe the workflow in general terms first. A consulting conversation is not a privileged legal consultation. Your legal team remains responsible for legal advice about confidentiality, privilege and vendor terms.

§ 4 Consulting scope

AI projects for legal teams.

Agentic Attorney · v1, Oct 2026

Deleted: an open-ended AI rollout.

Inserted: a defined workflow, deliverables, and review criteria.

We work with law firms and legal departments evaluating AI, improving an existing setup, or implementing a specific workflow. Each engagement defines what will be built or assessed, what your team needs to provide, and how the results will be reviewed.

Who we work with

  • Law firms choosing or implementing AI tools
  • Legal departments improving intake, document work, or internal knowledge access
  • Teams with an existing pilot that needs testing, integration, or clearer oversight
  • Project owners who can involve the people responsible for the workflow, IT, and review

What the project needs

  • A defined problem and agreed measures of success
  • Approved access to the relevant tools and test material
  • Time from the people who will use and supervise the system
  • A decision-maker for scope, permissions, and deployment

Implementation can include

  • Workflow assessment, tool evaluation, and pilot design
  • Agents, integrations, and review checkpoints in approved systems
  • Testing, documentation, team training, and handoff

Scope boundaries

  • Software licenses and third-party costs are identified separately
  • Production changes require your team’s approval
  • Ongoing maintenance and support must be included in the agreed scope
  • Your team retains responsibility for legal judgment and review

Consulting and implementation are provided by Agentic Attorney LLC. The platform does not provide legal advice or representation. Legal work requires a separate legal engagement.

§ 5 Schedule A, fees

A defined scope. An agreed fee.

Agentic Attorney · v1, Oct 2026

Deleted: an undefined rollout.

Inserted: a scope and fee agreed before work begins.

Our consulting engagements connect your team’s workflow with the tools, integrations and review practices it needs. Your team helps set the scope, tests the implementation and reviews the result.

  2. BuildConfigure agents and integrations in approved systems, with clear limits and human review checkpoints.
  3. TrainDocument the process and teach the people who will use, supervise and maintain it.

Exhibit A Closing checklist

Agree on the handoff at the start.

The project scope identifies what will be delivered, where it will be stored, and who will own it. This checklist shows the kinds of deliverables an implementation can include.

Measures and a starting point are agreed before the build so the result can be assessed.

  1. Onboard

A tool register. The tools included in the project, the information each may access, and the agreed review responsibilities.

  2. Onboard

People trained on those rules. Training for the people who will use and supervise the tools, with the workflow and its limits documented.

  3. Build

Agents and connectors in your matter systems. Connected to the approved workflows, with a named reviewer for each agreed human checkpoint.

  4. Govern

A written authority limit for every agent. What it may do, what it may never do, and who can stop it.

  5. Govern

Kill switches and audit logs. A way to stop each agent, and a record of what it did.

  6. Govern

Vendor information documented. The tools’ access, retention and data-use arrangements, with questions for your legal team where legal review is needed.

  7. Prove it

A before-and-after memo. Results compared with the agreed starting point, including quality, review effort and turnaround where relevant.

§ 7 Engagement

Start with the work you want to improve.

  1. 7.1

    Describe the workflow.

Tell us what your legal team wants to improve, in general terms. The optional readiness check below can help you prepare. Do not send client facts or confidential material.

  2. 7.2

    Discuss the project.

We discuss the current process, the people involved, the systems in use and the outcome you want. The first conversation is about consulting scope.

  3. 7.3

    Agree on scope and controls.

Define deliverables, access, approved test material, review criteria, fees and support arrangements in a written consulting agreement.

  4. 7.4

    Build, review and hand over.

Work starts after the agreement and required access approvals. Your team reviews the implementation before production use and retains responsibility for legal judgment.
